Yes, and it is worth getting one before any eye surgery. Bring your reports, scans and the lens or implant plan you were given. If we agree with the earlier advice we will tell you that plainly — a second opinion that simply confirms the first is still a useful answer.
No. You can book any speciality directly, including retina, glaucoma and paediatric clinics. If you do have a referral or past records, carry them — they save repeating tests.
You do not need to. Describe the symptom to our appointment desk and they will route you. As a rough guide: blurred distance vision and glare at night usually starts with cataract or refractive, floaters and flashes with retina, gradual side-vision loss with glaucoma, and anything to do with a child's eyes with our paediatric and squint clinic.
Yes. Our doctors and front-desk teams consult in Telugu and English at every centre, and Hindi and Urdu are commonly spoken at our two Hyderabad centres. Ask for the language you are comfortable in when you book — explanations only help if you follow them.
