Where we have been, and what we have been doing
Most of our work happens in the outpatient department. Some of it happens in a village hall with a folding table and a torch. This page collects both — press clippings from our archive, photographs from our screening camps, and the videos on our channel.
Clippings from our archive
These were published about MediVision over the years. We are still confirming the publication and date on each one before we caption it — we would rather leave a caption blank than guess at it.

Eye camps and community screening
Cataract does not wait for you to reach a city hospital. Our teams run screening camps in villages, schools and workplaces across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and bring the people who need surgery back to our centres.

Questions about our camps and coverage
How do I arrange an eye camp for my village, school or company?
Call +91 90001 80035 or message us on WhatsApp with the location, roughly how many people you expect and a couple of possible dates. We will tell you what our team needs — a room, power, and someone local to help with registration — and confirm whether we can cover that area.
What does a screening camp actually include?
Typically vision testing, a refraction check and an examination for cataract and obvious problems of the front of the eye. Anything that needs imaging, pressure testing or surgery is referred to the nearest MediVision centre. What is covered varies by camp and by the partner organising it, so ask us about the specific camp.
Do the camps cost anything?
It depends who is hosting the camp and what has been agreed with them. Ask before you travel and we will tell you plainly what is free, what is charged and what a follow-up at the hospital would cost.
Why do the news clippings have no dates?
Because we do not have reliable dates for all of them, and we are not willing to invent one. They came to us as images without mastheads or datelines. As we verify each publication and date, we will caption them properly.
Where can I see more photographs and videos?
The gallery has photographs of our theatres, diagnostic rooms and outpatient areas across all five centres. Our YouTube channel carries the video tours. Both are linked from this page.
Need an eye check-up, not a camp?
5 centres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, open six days a week, with a 24×7 emergency desk at Masab Tank.
